About the Speaker:

With degrees in Education and Social Work, Elizabeth Lewis worked many years in each field in both Maryland and Nevada. However, grandchildren, and a continuing love of the East Coast and its beautiful beaches and coastline brought Liz and her husband to retire to South Carolina. Her love of the outdoors and history led her to become a volunteer at the Belle Baruch Foundation at Hobcaw Barony. She joined the staff as an Educator in 2022. Liz is also a South Carolina Master Naturalist and a volunteer for Inlet and Bay Stewards for NERR-Winyah Bay.
