As autumn settles in and the garden prepares for its winter slumber, the roses at Brookgreen Gardens put on a final show of beauty. Join Lucy Contreras, Manager of Horticulture Education and Plant Collections, for an intimate gathering to celebrate the season’s last bloom. With light refreshments in hand, dive into a relaxed, friendly discussion about the trials, tribulations, and triumphs of rose gardening—both at Brookgreen and in your own backyard. Afterward, take a guided tour of the Poetry Garden to explore the roses as they wind down for the year, with insights into what to expect as the garden welcomes a new growing season.
