About the Speaker:
A Boston native, Dr. John J. Navin earned his master's degree at Boston College and his Ph.D. at Brandeis University. He specializes in early American history and has been a member of the history faculty at Coastal Carolina University since 1999. He has published numerous articles about Colonial America and has several book projects underway.
