About the Speaker:
Joshua Knight is a Native American award-winning artist working out of SC in various mediums, from charcoal to watercolor and oils. In his personal artistic expression, Josh tends to create work dealing with portraiture/figure with other objects as a means of symbolic representation of his personal life and experiences. He explores a wide range of media from 2-D to 3-D, with concentrations in drawing, painting, and ceramics/sculpture. He received his BA from Coastal Carolina University and his master's from the University of South Carolina. He is a teaching associate at Coastal Carolina University in the Department of Visual Arts.
