It has been our experience that Calendula officinalis 'Ivory Princess' performs well in our area in mild winters in a cool season planting. It does not tolerate very cold winters and is often damaged. It was observed to do best in containers and perform fairly in the ground. As it grows, it can become leggy, with its stems then falling over. Flowers were attractive and plentiful. It is about a foot tall and wide.

In order to keep this attractive throughout the growing season, it is best to remove old, yellowing leaves.
