It has been our experience that Digitalis purpurea 'Pam's Choice' is not a reliable bloomer in our area in cool season plantings. We found that it took two growing seasons to flower, as opposed to the one complete growing season that most D. purpurea typically take. The flowers were attractive, but we have found the plant to be unreliable from a flowering standpoint.
