It is our experience that Melampodium divaricatum 'Showstar' performs well in our area. We found it to bloom well and consistently while also being relatively maintenance free in smaller plantings. It is our experience that this is not ideal for mass plantings. Additionally, in a greenhouse setting, we have found it to be prone to fungus.
