Salvia 'Roman Red' was the result of a planned breeding program in The Netherlands.

It has been our experience that Salvia 'Roman Red' performs well in our area in a warm season planting. It does best in full sun with continual flowering throughout the season. It is about three feet tall and about three feet wide.
