Zinnia marylandica 'PAS951097' (Zahara® Sunburst)
It has been our experience that Zinnia marylandica 'PAS951097' (Zahara® Sunburst) tends to lose it's darker orange blotch in the center of its petals over time. We suspect this is because of the heat in our area, but have noticed new flowers emerging with the characteristic blotch, even during hotter weather, but is perhaps slightly more subdued. As the flower ages, we find the blotch to fade almost completely during the hotter months.
