Note
In the spring/early summer of 2020, eastern tent caterpillars were extremely prevalent and ate a substantial amount of the leaves on a number of the roses (primarily climbers). The damage occurred quickly. I thought the plants would rebound in a few weeks and send out new leaves during that time. As it happened, the plants languished for the remainder of the season and were bare; the leaves did not flush out as we anticipated - while some leaves did come back, it was not nearly what I anticipated. This I feel contributed to the poor score received by what we refered to as "'Dublin Bay' 2" that was removed after not receiving a high enough average score from its evaluations.
