Originally planted in POET04. Survived for the first couple years, but never really thrived. It ultimately died and was removed. Upon removal, the roots did not appear to have grown very much. The cultivar is touted as being more heat tolerant. The plant we had was a standard, and I wonder if a plant that was not pruned into that form would have performed better. The plant had survived and flowered, but never really thrived. We were all excited to see it survived in our climate, and I would recommend trying again in a form that is not pruned into a standard, as well as other supposedly heat tolerant cultivars.
